Welcome! You have found your way to a site of compassion and love for animals. I believe in animal welfare, not animal rights. I am not a member of PETA--for more about that, visit my PETA page. I currently volunteer for an animal shelter and an animal welfare organization in a community outreach program. Other volunteers and I go out into the community to try to persuade people to bring their dogs inside and off thier chain. We help make the time outside as comfortable as possible for those dogs banished to the backyard. I have experience in Humane Education and have a personal experience with animal cruelty. I write letters to judges about specific cases and legislators about laws or legislation. 100% of the profits I receive from advertising on this site and from my cafepress store will go directly to cats in need of medical care, food or toys at the shelter I volunteer at. I will also use that money to buy toys, food and treats for dogs who are living their lives on a chain. Happy clicking!
